"In January 2026, I stood on the railroad tracks in Dorud, Iran, and asked the world not to forget us. Within hours, the IRGC was at my door. I grabbed a backpack and ran — walking hundreds of miles through the Zagros Mountains alone, in the snow, with only a hoodie, to reach safety in Iraq.
That two-minute video ended the life I knew — but it started something that can’t be stopped. I left behind everything except my faith in Jesus Christ and my determination to see my country freed from the IRGC.
I’m Ali. I’m Lor. I’m a Christian. I’m a bodybuilder and a gym coach who left behind a good life because I couldn’t accept that life being good only for me. I’m a refugee who walked across mountains in the snow to get here. And I’m not done."
Thousands of you have reached out. This website is where you can offer your support. Thank you — so so so much — for wanting to support Ali and other Iranian refugees. The response has been overwhelming, and we don't take a single pledge for granted.
